"Waiheke"
the weather wasn't nearly as nice as the day we went to Waiheke last year - Waiheke 2013 - as it was cloudy and overcast :(
From the ferry terminal
It's hard to tell from the small photos but some of the trees on the hill opposite the ferry terminal are currently in bloom and have a noticeable purple/violet colour to them.

Wool Graffiti
This is a bench just down from the ferry terminal. This is the first time I’ve noticed any type of wool graffiti on Waiheke.

The walk from the ferry terminal to Oneroa
This is the rest of the walk from the bench with the wool graffiti through the trees and up to the main shopping centre called Oneroa.

Oneroa library & art center and beach
They had been building the new Waiheke library the last time I had been here and it’s rather nice. The beach would be a lot nicer when the weather is good.

Onetangi
Onetangi is one of the other great beaches on Waiheke.

Coastal Walk
This is the start of the coastal walk that starts at the ferry terminal and heads in the opposite direction to the walk to Oneroa. It’s supposed to be a difficult/steep walk.
