The Big Hoot 2018

The Big Hoot is the replacement for the Big Egg Hunt - which only ran in 2014 and 2015. It has the same premise where artist paint large Owls, rather than Eggs, which are placed around the city and the Owls are auctioned to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation. Big Egg Hunt 2015
This is for the 2015 Big Egg Hunt, where giant eggs have been hidden throughout Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Unless something strange happens all of my photos will be of the eggs hidden around Auckland, as I'm not planning to go to Wellington or Christchurch in the coming month.
Big Egg Hunt 2014
This is an Easter egg hunt, where eggs decorated by various artists have been "hidden" around Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. They aren't that hard to find as maps are provided, though some of the eggs have been taken down as people have damaged them :(

Christmas 2013
This is my page for the various Christmas related decorations I have come across in the run up in Christmas 2013. These includle things like the Smith & Caughey Christmas window displays and the large "Christmas presents" around central Auckland with the various New Zealand related scenes inside.
Franklin Road Christmas Lights 2012
This page the collection of photos I took of the Christmas lights, mostly on Franklin Road in Ponsonby, Auckland. All of the photos were taken on the 19th of December 2012.
Camera Test 1
I got a new phone recently and wanted to do a test run taking photos and then uploading them to my computer. The photos in here are the result.
Camera test 2
These are some photos I took from the Bayswater and then Devonport ferries. Some are a touch blurry unfortunately. But it was intertesting - to me at least :) - to see how they turned out, espically the long distance photos.
