I am trying to make a point of taking a few photos every day, so I am going to take photos of things I think are interesting around the central city in Auckland when I am there. Including works of art like the statures that are around the city.

This is down the very bottom of Albert Street.

This is on the water front, inbetween the ferry terminal and the Maritime Museum.

K Road Bench
This is one of the seats on K Road, which is the road near the end of Queen. I was looking for some of the art on K Rd for Art Week 2013, when I came across this seat :)

Artwork on Building Site Fence
There is a building site on High St and this is drawn on the fenceing facing the street.

Lord Freyberg Statue
This is part of a area on High Street, which runs next to Queen Street, with seating and the statue & water feature in my pictures...

A Wee Drop
This is painted on the back of a shop in a small packing lot, that is just around the corner from the central city library.
I've been told that the arist who created this is called Deus aka Elliot Francis Stewart and his website is Elliot Francis Stewart. (His blog post for this mural is here).

These are outside a tourist shop near the bottom of Albert Street - close to the waterfront and the ferries.

Sculpture on Office Block
This is on one of the buildings just off Queen Street at the ferry terminal end and can be easily seen from Queen Street. I think it looks better in real life than it does in my photos :)

Women's Suffrage Centenary Monument
This set of stairs is directly opposite the Auckland Art Gallery and leads down to High Street, which runs parallel to Queen Street.

This is outside one of the BNZ banks on Queen Street, close to the ferry terminal.

This statue is across the road from the Auckland Art Gallery.

This statue is at the end of Queens Street and is directly opposite the downtown ferry terminal.
