"The Waste Lands"
By: Stephen King

I enjoyed this book despite the cliff hanger ending, more than the first book in The Dark Tower series but less than the second book. It continues the events of the first two books and brings together events from the first and second book.

I still think this series suffers due to the fact that I know what’s going to happen at the end of the very last book and how everything works out for the main character Roland, as this knowledge colors how I view what is happening and what I assume happened with the stories tells about his previous set of friends/companions. This is effecting how I view the individual books and the story as a whole of course, but I still am enjoying the books.
