"The Long Utopia"
By: Terry Pratchett & Stephen Baxter

I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than the other sequels to "The Long Earth", in particular the sections set in the past looking at the lives, (including one of the relatives of a main character of the series), of the natural steppers living 100 to 200 years before the main action in the series of books. I also found the book more interesting than the earlier books, with a stronger plot line rather than seeming to just randomly travel along the long earth (or the long mars as in the last book).

It's not quite a five star perfect book for me, but it is perfectly readable and enjoyable.
