"Sit, Stay, Slay"
By: Linda O. Johnston

I was given this book rather it being something I’d normally buy myself. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting and at worst it could be described as being a bit mindless and simplistic. The reason why the main character starts investigating crimes also makes sense as at the start of the book she is a lawyer who has been forced into working as a pet sitter due to a false ethics violation bought against in her last case as a lawyer.

It was well written and a fast read, something I’d happy read on holiday when I don’t want anything challenging and would be happy to leave the book at the motel/hotel or airport for someone else to read rather than carting the book back home again.
