"Mr Mercedes"

"Mr Mercedes" is not what I would expect from a Stephen King, as there are no supernatural parts in the book at all. It is not really a horror book; it's more of a slasher movie crossed with a detective novel as the "monster" in this book is a 100% human psycho.
While I did find it very readable and was able to finish it every quickly, I don't think that it was one of his better books and it was heading more into the bland thriller/crime/ detective novel rather than his usual horror books.
